"SUBLIME CALM", ST DAVID'S CHURCH (ASHPRINGTON (DEVON, ENGLAND)

St David's Church towers over the village of Ashprington in Devon. It has parts dating back to the 1200s and a Norman font, although there was almost certainly an earlier church on the site. The carved pulpit is by Herbert Read, modelled on the one at Kenton church from 1485. 20 August 2023.
